Working on a few cotton crochet lace doilies that will be available for purchase via my Etsy shop soon πŸ™‚

Approximately 25 inch cotton lace Shades of Grey. Love how this turned out! It’s soft & has a lovely drape. Can be lightly starched but I love the look & feel of this as is.

Mint green doily worked up using a heavier weight rope thread. Approx. 23 inch

100% Egyptian cotton lace doily worked using size 10 thread.

I confess I have had a little bit of a crochet doily obsession as of late.Β  To prove my point enjoy aΒ  few quick IPad captures:

worked this beauty from a diagram pattern. So excited I finally made the plunge!
The plan is to turn this one into a bowl.Β Β  I’ll share when it’s complete.

I almost gave up on thisΒ  because I don’t really care for patterns that require breaking off and finishing things separately. Call me crazy but I like to have the freedom to rip stitches if I’m not thrilled with how the pattern is working up……However I loved how this turned out so happy that I hung in there!Β Β Β  Find the free patternΒ  HERE

in my world these items go together πŸ™‚

If you are one of the lucky folks who have a three-day weekend….ENJOY!

I am not one of them.

Fresh Off The Hook!

I have a project in mind for all these newly crochet doilies.Β Β  Still have a few more to go before I can get started!

a couple of original Off The Hook ThreadΒ  doily designs
Some day I will jot down the patterns if anyone is interested.

My very first attempt at a diagram crochet pattern (with a little twist of my own thrown in for good measure) !
Seriously do not know why I did not try these before!
***Proud moment πŸ™‚

Hope your day is full of sunshine and happiness!
